The creators of the film “Ganapath”:
starring Tiger Shroff, unveiled the song “Jai Ganesha” shortly after the conclusion of Ganesh Utsav. In this high-energy single, Tiger’s electrifying dance pays homage to the gods. The song’s lyrics were composed by Vishal Mishra and written by Akshay Tripathi, with Vishal Mishra also lending his vocals to the track.
Had the song been released during Ganesh Utsav, it might have quickly gained popularity. Nevertheless, there’s still potential for it to garner attention in the coming days. “Ganapath” is the name of the film, set in the year 2070, where Tiger’s character transforms from Guddu to Ganapath as he battles societal issues. The film is directed by Amitabh Bachchan, who also stars in it alongside Kriti Sanon.
Initially promoted as “Ganapath Part 1,” the producers have since retracted the first part, leaving the possibility of the movie becoming a franchise uncertain. Tiger Shroff already has successful ventures like “Baaghi” and “Heropanti” under his belt. His next project is “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan,” where he will be seen opposite Akshay Kumar, following “Ganapath.”
Tiger’s 2022 release, “Heropanti 2,” received mixed reviews from both critics and audiences. His previous blockbuster, “Baaghi 3,” hit the screens in 2020, just before the onset of the pandemic. In contrast, Kriti Sanon’s 2022 films, “Shehzada” and “Adipurush,” didn’t resonate well with the audience. Notably, she recently launched her own production company and announced plans to produce “Do Patti,” a film in which she will also act alongside Kajol. She is set to star with Tabu and Kareena Kapoor in “The Crew” and is working on an untitled project with Shahid Kapoor. Kriti’s remarkable performance in “Mimi” earned her the National Film Award.
