Israeli soldiers battled Hamas fighters in the streets of southern Israel on Sunday and launched retaliation strikes that leveled buildings in Gaza.
Earlier on October 7th, Hamas launched a surprise attack from Gaza on Israel and Israel responded by launching strikes on what it called Hamas targets in Gaza. Video shows continued destruction in the region throughout the day.
